Young Jack Barnett has won the Bushido Judo Kwai's highest award, The Stephen Milsted Award.
Jack won this by coming top of our competition medal chart, between May 2016 / May 2017, Stephen Milsted was a senior 1st Kyu and a founder member of our club on the 3rd May 1976, in 1978 Steve decided to relocate to Flensburg, West Germany, but did give us some money to buy an award for the junior members to compete for, Jan Russell became the first recipient of this award on the 5th August 1978, Steve Milsted later emigrated to Austrailia where he still lives, the award has been presented each May since then.
Jack is now listed with the best of the best from our club.
