Bushido Judo Kwai - Just Champion

Five junior members from Bushido Judo Kwai competed at the North East Open, Judo Championships, Westgate Centre for Sport, Newcastle upon Tyne today, winning two gold, two Bronze and one runner up medal. All five are dedicated loyal members and have done so well today. Ellie and Callum will be competing at the Judo For All Championship in London next month and we wish them well with that.

Jon Thompson visits Bushido Judo Kwai.

On Friday September 6th, we had a surprise visit from past member Jon Thompson, Jon joined the Bushido Judo Kwai on the 3rd October 2002, when we opened a branch of our club at Gosforth High School, two years later we moved the club to our main dojo at Wallsend Boys Club, Jon along with others made the move and stayed with us for a number of years. So it was good to see him turn up for a training session with us.
