Five from Four The Bushido Kid's.

Four of our junior judoka competed at the Butokokan Judo, Invitational Competition, at Newbiggin by the Sea, Northumberland  today, with some spectacular judo Jack Barnett won Gold in the Boys under 10s, Ellie Hutton won Gold in the Girls under 10s, Callum McInnes won Gold in the Boys under 12s, while Liam Banks won a Gold in the Boys under 14s then went on to win a Silver in the Boys under 16s. As there coach i couldn't be more proud of them and this result takes me back to the golden days of our club, in the 1970s / 80s.
I am also pleased that all four have the A.E.J.F badge on there judogi's, as A.E.J.F  President Joe Norman commented on that, when he saw the photo.

The New Stephen Milsted Award Medal Table has,  No 1 Jack Barnett, Joint No 2 Ellie Hutton, Callum McInnes and Liam Banks, No 3 Millie Williams, No 4 Jessica Cairns.

The I.B.F Championship in Dumfries, Scotland, in July is our next event.
