Olympic Torch Comes To The Bushido Judo Kwai
On Friday 20th July Olympic Torch Bearer Bob Carpenter visited the Bushido Judo Kwai at the Kings Estate Residents Association Wallsend and gave our students a short presentation on the importance of fitness. This was a surprise to everyone and went down very well with all, all of the members having their photo taken with the torch individually. The other big surprise was that Bob, along with his daughter Margaret and his son David had trained at the Bushido Judo Kwai as far back as 1978.

New Dojo for Wallsend's Bushido Judo Kwai
Wallsend's Bushido Judo Kwai will begin training from Monday 28th May 2012 at its new dojo at Kings Estate Residents Association, Milfield Avenue, King's Estate, Wallsend, NE28 9JF. The move was prompted when Wallsend Boy's Club (our home for 25 years) was demolished.
When I approached the Kings Estate Residents Association Committee with a view to us running our club from their premises they moved very quickly and soon gave me the go ahead, for which we are very grateful, as this is a perfect facility for our club.
TRAINING SESSIONS ARE ON MONDAY & FRIDAY EVENINGS 6.30 / 8.00pm
