A.E.J.F Grading at Morpeth.

Well done to Adam, Jack, Kadi and Jess who were all promoted at the All England Judo Federation, Northern Regional Grading in Morpeth, Northumberland recently.

A little bit of Bushido Judo Kwai history.

 

This was our first visit to Bordeaux, France, to train at a week long course under Master Haku Michigami 9th Dan, this was in 1978 and we would visit this course for the next ten years.
With Master Michigami are L/R,  Les Jones, Chris Dawson and Sensei Bill Wood.

Bushido Judo Kwai 40 years old.

Happy Birthday to Wallsend's Bushido Judo Kwai 3rd May 2016.  Thank you to all our members past & present.

Lydia wins Bushido Top Award.

10 year old Lydia Bamford has won the Stephen Milsted Award for 2016, Lydia won the award when she ended our year at the top of our medal chart, this is the most important award given by our club and is presented as close to our clubs birthday (May 3rd) as possible, Sharon Holman May who as a junior member of our club won this award in 1982, Presented the award to Lydia.
